MER TableTalkspt3 – Ketu Bø & Roland Engelbracht

Roland Engelbracht & Ketu Bø,” the speakers discuss various aspects of character structures, trauma, and healing. They focus on Primal wounds, which are for life but manageable, and the three main wounds: two fear wounds and one pain wound. Engelbracht and Bø also touch upon Wilhelm Reich’s five character structures, such as the unwanted child, and the importance of body-centered therapy sessions in helping individuals feel safe and embodied. They explore different pain patterns in children’s development, including the “endurer” or “psychopath” pain type, and discuss the impact of character styles on leadership and relationships. The speakers emphasize the importance of addressing both the emotional and physical aspects of trauma, using techniques like mirror work, touch, and working with connective tissue to release tension and become more fluid.

Roland Engelbracht

In 2006, seeking a fresh professional path, Roland turned to an astrologist who recommended exploring a career that involved hands-on spiritual healing. This advice led him to explore various modalities before enrolling in a Rebalancing course at the Humaniversity, taught by Satyarthi Peloquin, a co-founder of Rebalancing, in the fall of 2008. Roland’s journey continued as he closely collaborated with Satyarthi, assisting in teaching Myofascial Energetic Release techniques in both the Netherlands and China. In 2019, Satyarthi entrusted Roland with leading his own workshops in the Netherlands, where he has since trained nearly 80 professionals in becoming MER Therapists. By 2021, Roland, alongside Satyarthi, launched MER7 to further enrich the MER training programs, and together with Satyarthi and Pavani, inaugurated a new treatment center in Arillas, Corfu.
